Trollius – New Moon
Trollius x Cultorum New Moon | Globeflower
Globeflowers are extremely popular perennials, bursting into color in late spring and early summer. “New Moon” produces globe-shaped balls that open to large, creamy-yellow double flowers on strong upright stems. The flowers and the foliage both look beautiful in springtime bouquets. Â
The attractive, textured, deep green foliage grows vigorously to form attractive clumps that look beautiful near a pond or a stream. They are happiest where they can be kept moist in partial shade and do well in sunny damp meadows and streamside but will grow nicely in the garden in soil that does not dry out.Â
