Gravetye Giant, or ‘Giant Snowflake,’ reliably blooms for an extended period from mid- to late spring in regions ranging from Maine to Florida to southern California. Rising above clumps of grassy green foliage are strong, arching stems, each carrying 4 to 8 large, nodding, bell-shaped blossoms. The white flower petal tips are jauntily decorated with oval green dots, which create a stunning, polka-dot sea when naturalized.
