The tall stalks of Bletilla Striata are topped with clusters of three to seven tiny deep pink flowers. More commonly known as Hardy Orchid, it is one of the easiest of the orchids to grow, with a bloom period of between four and six weeks on average.
The pleated foliage is long and wide, thriving in partial shade. It lends a lovely thick texture to the landscape all the way through the season until the frost. An excellent choice for cut flowers and container growing.
